Why did you choose to teach with Reach for Excellence?

I have a passion for education, teaching, and community outreach. I’m so pleased to be able to accomplish all three within RFE

Tell us about your teaching philosophy…

I prefer employing the Socratic Method by using questions to stimulate engagement and learn the process of problem-solving.

What is your favorite aspect of teaching Middle School students?

I love the energy!

What is your favorite Reach for Excellence memory?

This is my first year teaching with RFE and I very clearly remember my first day teaching. I have been interested in being a teacher for so long that it was a realization of a dream for me and a very special moment.

What’s your claim to fame?

Outside of my job as a business consultant and teaching with RFE, I am a singer in a local band and love to perform!
