High School Achievement And Character Award

Thanks to the generosity of an anonymous alum, Reach for Excellence is pleased to announce the establishment of the High School Achievement and Character Awards. These $1,000 scholarships are awarded to a Reach graduate currently attending an independent high school. It is intended to help cover costs for books, supplies, extracurricular activities, and other incidental expenses.

In this first year of the program, Reach for Excellence awarded five High School Achievement and Character Awards to Kevin Rosas, Marist School; Victoria Arizmendi-Avila, Wesleyan School; Kevin Rubio, Marist School; Cesar Buendia, Holy Innocents Episcopal School; and Saron Haileselassie, Marist School. Each of these students is not only excelling with academics and extracurricular activities at their current schools, but also continuing to volunteer and stay involved with Reach for Excellence. Congratulations to these deserving students.
