Congratulations to Lauren O., Reach Cohort 2014 L graduate who will participate in the Franklin & Marshal College Prep Summer 2017 program!
F&M College Prep is a three-week residential liberal arts college immersion experience that brings together rising high school seniors from underserved communities around the country and offers them the affective experience of college with substantive courses taught by F&M professors and communal life in the residence and dining halls in Lancaster, PA.
Franklin and Marshall covers all program costs, including room, board, program materials and transportation expenses. Each student receives a stipend of $500 upon completing the program. Students live in campus residence halls with their peers and program staff. The student to staff ratio is 6:1.
With assistance from generous donors and collaborating partners, Franklin and Marshall covers all program costs, including room, board, program materials and transportation expenses. By the end of the program, F & M College Prep’s goal is for students to leave with a polished college application essay for the Common Application as well as the confidence to engage in a rigorous academic setting, interact with college professors, and be comfortable living away from home on a college campus. In addition, F & M College Prep continues to support students during their senior year in high school providing guidance as they progress through their college application and decision making process.
